To avoid nasty weather from Hurricane Lee, the Tomato Preserving Party will now be held on Saturday, September 23.

The Tomato Preserving Party is back for the second year to preserve more fresh, locally grown tomatoes for our community!

Join us for a fun morning at the Belfast Soup Kitchen. Johnny's Selected Seeds will donate high-quality tomatoes, and we will use the the Belfast Soup Kitchen’s professional kitchen to blanch and freeze the nutritious crop. Last year, the Belfast Soup Kitchen was able to put the tomatoes we preserved to good use by serving them to their guests over the winter.

No need to RSVP—just show up and we'll start peeling on Saturday, September 16 23, from 9am to 12pm!
